The New York Court of Appeals overturned Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction, ordering a new trial. The court ruled that the judge made mistakes, like allowing testimony from unrelated accusers, deeming it unfair.

The decision nullifies the disgraced Hollywood producer’s 23-year prison sentence for third-degree rape and first-degree criminal sex act convictions.

Despite the ruling, Weinstein, 72, remains incarcerated due to a separate 2022 California conviction.
