Russell Brand accused of rape, sexual assault, abuse

British actor-comedian Russell Brand faces intense scrutiny as four women accuse the 48-year-old of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse between 2006 to 2013.

Brand refuted the allegations in a video statement, asserting that all his relationships were consensual.

His former employers, the BBC, Channel 4 and production company Banijay U.K. have launched an internal probe into the allegations that took place when he worked there as a presenter.
