False fears of gunfire at rapper GloRilla’s concert in Rochester, New York, on Sunday, sent the concertgoers running towards the exits causing a stampede that killed two and left one critically injured.

Seven others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The venue was a renovated US armory and could hold 5,000 people. Police will investigate if the concert crowd exceeded this capacity.

In 2021, 10 people died due to a crowd surge at rapper Travis Scott’s concert.
