Former US President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have agreed to provide testimony in a House Oversight Committee investigation regarding Jeffrey Epstein.
The committee had subpoenaed the Clintons in August. The date and time of their testimony have not yet been provided.
The Justice Department recently released over 3.5 million pages of files related to Epstein’s crimes.
House Republicans are seeking clarity on the couple’s past associations with the disgraced financier, citing flight logs from the early 2000s. Bill Clinton has consistently denied any wrongdoing, maintaining he severed ties with Epstein years before any criminal charges surfaced.
Among the released DOJ files, the name of New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch appears over 400 times. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced Monday that the league will investigate Tisch’s connection to Epstein.
Tisch has acknowledged that he and Epstein exchanged emails about “adult women.” He denies ever visiting Epstein’s private island and has never been charged with any crime.
