Elon Musk appeared to retreat from his escalating feud with President Donald Trump on Wednesday, following a Monday night call between them.

He admitted, “They went too far,” referring to some of his controversial posts.

Musk, who spent nearly $300 million to support Trump’s election campaign, took a slew of verbal jabs at him last week.

Had called for the president’s impeachment, claimed credit for his election win and even suggested Trump was linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump, initially threatening Musk’s government contracts—worth billions across Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink—has since softened his tone. Yet, he called Musk “crazy” and hinted at drug use.

Despite personal clashes, Musk continues to support Trump’s policies on immigration and federal cost-cutting.

Tesla’s market value surged after Musk’s conciliatory message, recovering some of the billions lost during the public spat.
