President Donald Trump announced the declassification of documents he claims reveal election vulnerabilities, fraud, and interference by China.

Delivering a prime-time address from the White House yesterday, Trump pushed for the passage of the SAVE America Act—a measure that requires proof of citizenship to vote—despite Senate Majority Leader John Thune stating the bill lacks enough Republican votes.

Trump also cited what he described as a "stunning" Department of Homeland Security report, claiming that approximately 278,000 non-citizens were registered to vote.

That claim contrasts with findings from the conservative-leaning Heritage Foundation, which documented roughly 100 verified cases of non-citizen voting over the past 20 years.

In addition, Trump accused the intelligence community of withholding information that he says shows China compromised 220 million voter records and targeted the data of tens of millions of voters in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election.
