Kyrie Irving apologizes after getting suspended

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving apologized late Thursday for promoting antisemitic material on social media, hours after he was suspended from the team.

Irving received severe backlash over the weekend over a tweet he posted last week that has since been taken down.

It is unknown if the Nets will lift his five-game suspension after the apology.
