Apple AirPods 3 lets users hear translations in English while someone speaks Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese|Apple

Apple’s new AirPods Pro 3 will allow users to understand a foreign language as they will be able to translate conversations live.

Unveiled at the iPhone event Tuesday, the feature lets users hear translations in English while someone speaks Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese.

When both speakers wear AirPods, conversations translate live in both directions.

The feature, part of Apple Intelligence, arrives Monday for newer AirPods.

Apple is not the first
Google’s Pixel 10 has a similar feature, and it can translate calls.

Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses also offer similar tools.

As AI translation advances, competition grows. Experts say this could transform industries beyond travel—like education and healthcare—where accurate, secure translation matters most.
