Google announced a redesigned search bar for the first time in 25 years
During its developer conference yesterday, Google unveiled a wave of AI products and updates.
It introduced Gemini Spark, an around-the-clock AI assistant; Docs Live for voice-generated documents; Gemini Omni, a new video-focused AI model; and a faster Gemini system.
The tech giant also announced a redesigned search bar for the first time in 25 years.
The new search experience lets users ask longer and more detailed questions, upload photos and videos, and continue conversations with follow-up prompts directly on the search page.
The company is rapidly expanding Gemini across services like Gmail, YouTube, and Google Photos as competition with OpenAI intensifies.
Google says its Gemini app now has about 900 million active users, helping strengthen its position in the global AI race.
