The world’s biggest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, is all set to make its debut in January when it will depart from Miami to the Caribbean.

More than five times the size of the Titanic, the cruise features 20 decks, a 55-foot waterfall, 40 dining areas, a massive water park on water, and many other highlights to keep its 5,610 passengers entertained, the mega-ship is longer than the Eiffel Tower.

Though several took to social media to criticize the ship, it doesn’t change the fact that there are many who can’t wait to hop on for a ride. According to the cruise line Royal Caribbean International, Icon reported its largest-ever booking day in October when reservations opened.

Tickets for the cruise start at a little more than $1,500 per passenger, and not-so-surprisingly, the ship’s January voyage is already sold out. But you can book other trips for later in the year, which will cost more than $10,000 a person.

The cruise industry is seeing an increased interest from travelers after the coronavirus pandemic when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention banned cruises.
