The Memorial Day weekend is causing an increase in road and air travel.

According to AAA, 42.3 million Americans will travel by road and air, making it the “third busiest Memorial Day weekend” in over two decades.

With a 17% increase in seat capacity, airports will be packed as 3.4 million travelers are expected to travel—an 11% increase year-on-year.

Amid cheaper gas and car rentals, 37.1 million Americans are expected to hit the road marking a 6% hike compared to last year.
