Nvidia reached a milestone yesterday when it briefly surpassed a $2 trillion valuation in intraday trading following its earnings report on Wednesday. The chipmaker closed at a $1.9 trillion valuation.
The company is a prominent player in the artificial intelligence space and has seen its shares take off over the past year.
Currently, it is the third largest US company, trailing behind Microsoft.
