Netflix released the first three episodes of ‘Harry & Meghan’, a docuseries that sheds light on the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s early romance and the challenges that made them decide to leave the crown.

The docuseries, by critically-acclaimed director Liz Garbus, is the first release from a multi-year contract with an estimated worth of $100 million between Netflix and the couple’s production house, Archwell Productions.

The next installment with the other three episodes of the six-part docuseries will be available on December 15.

The controversy
Netflix dropped two trailers of the series and along with praises, the couple drew some criticism that accuses them of misleading the audience.

Other projects
Though the couple is not saying a word about what else they have planned with the streaming giant, Harry and Meghan have other things going on.

Meghan Markle’s podcast, Archetypes, completed its first season. In partnership with Spotify, the podcast is part of a three-year deal worth around $18 million.

Harry’s memoir, Spare, hits shelves on January 10, 2023.

After retiring from their positions as royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle haven’t received any financial compensation from the Royal Family.
