Several Taylor Swift fans across 13 states are suing Ticketmaster and its parent company Live Nation for fraud and anticompetitive conduct after a glitchy, chaotic bid to obtain her Eras tour tickets.
The complaint, filed by 26 Swifties, comes after Ticketmaster canceled the ticket sales. The fans accuse the site of price fixing as well as antitrust violations and perpetuating a “scheme” by maintaining exclusivity that allowed them to sell tickets for a higher price by restricting competition.
