The service will provide faster access to posts from the platform’s 10 most influential accounts, including President Donald Trump

Trump Media & Technology Group announced a new paid service called “Truth API” recently, giving subscribers access to posts from 10 prominent political accounts, including President Trump, milliseconds before standard notifications reach other users.

The service, priced at $100,000 a month or $60,000 if a company signs up for three years, is launching next month and will give traders real-time information that could move markets.

Since Trump’s Truth Social posts have frequently affected the financial markets, Wall Street firms could use the faster updates to react more quickly to major announcements on tariffs, foreign policy and other economic issues.

Following two of his posts about Iran last month, investors traded more than 2 million shares linked to the energy and industrial markets in the first minute alone.

Trump Media’s interim CEO Kevin McGurn said the API could become a significant long-term revenue source. President Trump owns about 41% of Trump Media through a revocable trust, meaning the company could financially benefit from the new service.

But lawmakers aren’t happy. The move has drawn scrutiny from across the political spectrum, including a request for an SEC investigation. Critics warn that allowing traders early access to posts with the potential to move markets could create an uneven playing field and raise questions about market fairness. They say it gives paying customers an unfair advantage and raises conflict-of-interest concerns.
