A 76-million-year-old fossilized dinosaur skeleton will go up for auction this month in New York City.

The Gorgosaurus skeleton, a distant T. rex relative, is in “pristine condition” and the only one of its kind available for private ownership, auction house Sotheby’s said Tuesday.

The 10 feet tall and 22 feet long skeleton was found near Havre, Montana, in 2018.

The presale estimate for the fossil, which goes up for auction on July 28, is between $5 million and $8 million.
