A four-year-old boy killed more than six decades ago has been identified as Joseph Augustus Zarelli.
A young boy’s badly beaten up dead body was found in a cardboard box in 1975, but the remains couldn’t be identified, making it Philadelphia’s oldest unsolved homicide.
Due to the challenges in identifying the body, the case was known as “The Boy in the Box.” It is still unknown who was behind Zarelli’s death.
