The catastrophic Texas wildfire, the largest in state history, has claimed at least two lives as it threatens to burn through more land, including ranch, cattle and more.

The Smokehouse Creek Fire, which joined hands with another blaze, has consumed more than a million acres of land since last week in Texas alone and more than 31,500 acres in Oklahoma.

It is also the second-largest wildfire in US history since the 1980s when reliable record-keeping began.
