Washington continues to supply weapons to NATO allies, which Ukraine uses against Russia

President Donald Trump warned that he could send long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine if Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to negotiate a peace deal.

Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to Tel Aviv for an Israel-Hamas peace ceremony, Trump expressed frustration at stalled diplomacy and said he might pressure Moscow militarily.

Trump previously met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and discussed lifting restrictions on US long-range weapons for strikes inside Russia, though he made no firm commitment.

Washington continues to supply weapons to NATO allies, which Ukraine uses against Russia, while Kyiv develops its own arms, like the 20-foot Flamingo cruise missile.

Trump emphasized that he hopes Putin will avoid escalation, saying, “Do they want to have Tomahawks going in their direction? I don’t think so.”
