After taking complete control of the logistics hub of Lyman from Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday his forces will not stop there.

Scoring its biggest military victory in a long while, Zelensky said Kyiv will recapture more territories.

Russian forces retreated from Lyman in Donetsk Oblast, marking Ukraine’s remarkable advance. The success came a day after Moscow’s formal annexation of four Ukrainian regions—Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia—a move publicly denounced by the US and the Western countries.

The loss of Lyman can be seen as a severe blow to Russia, with allies and some Russian officials criticizing Moscow’s defense and suggesting the country take “more drastic measures,” like using nuclear weapons.
