A lone gunman opened fire Monday evening at 345 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, killing four people and injuring one before taking his own life. 

Among the victims were NYPD Officer Didarul Islam and an executive from Blackstone.

The shooter, 27-year-old Shane Tamura from Las Vegas, carried an M4 rifle. He entered the building around 6:30 p.m., shooting in the lobby and later on the 33rd floor at real-estate firm Rudin Management’s office.

Police are still investigating the shooter’s motive.

In another instance of gun violence, a gunman shot at people outside the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, killing three people and wounding three others.

Armed with multiple magazines, began firing near the valet area before fleeing through the parking lot.

Officers shot the suspect and arrested him. He remains in critical condition.
