Fox News said on Sunday it settled a defamation lawsuit from Majed Khalil, a Venezuelan businessman, in which Khalil claimed the network falsely claimed he helped rig the 2020 presidential election against Donald Trump.

Details of the settlement have not been made public.

“This matter has been resolved amicably by both sides,” a Fox News spokesperson said Sunday.

In 2020, in a tweet, Fox Business host Lou Dobbs named Khalil as one of the four people he wanted his viewers to “get familiar with” for committing supposed election fraud.
