Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika, said she forgives the alleged shooter responsible for his death|@TheWhiteHouse|X
Tens of thousands gathered Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, to honor conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Republican leaders, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Cabinet members, and Elon Musk, joined the service.
Many described Kirk, 31, as both a political force and a religious figure, calling his death a catalyst for a “revival” among conservatives.
Trump labeled the event “an old-time revival,” while Vance called Kirk a “martyr for the Christian faith.”
Kirk’s wife, Erika, urged forgiveness, even extending it to the shooter, saying her husband sought to guide lost young men toward faith.
Leaders framed his legacy as blending politics with spiritual renewal.
