President Donald Trump withdrew his endorsement of Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene on Friday. He sharply criticized her on social media, saying she has “gone Far Left”—escalating a weeks-long political feud.
The move marks a major split between the once-close allies as their public disagreements intensified over foreign policy and the handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related files.
Greene responded by accusing Trump of targeting her to scare Republicans ahead of next week’s vote on releasing Justice Department documents tied to Epstein. She is one of four Republicans supporting the petition, and more could join.
She argued that Trump is prioritizing foreign trips over domestic issues and urged him to focus more on affordability concerns affecting Americans.
Trump defended his travel, insisting his relationships with foreign leaders benefit US manufacturing and Georgia’s economy. He also suggested Greene’s constituents are unhappy and said he is open to endorsing a primary challenger.
