Italy’s Jannik Sinner defended his ATP Finals title in Turin, defeating world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5 in a highly anticipated showdown on Sunday.

Fueled by a cheering home crowd, Sinner fell to the floor, celebrating breaking Alcaraz’s serve in the final game.

While Alcaraz kept Sinner from finishing the year as world No. 1, the Italian claimed the final major trophy of 2025 to cap the best season of his career: four Grand Slam finals and winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon.

The ATP victory earned Sinner a record $5.07 million and marked his first win over Alcaraz in five meetings this year.
