Saudi Arabia’s soccer club, Al Hilal proposed a world-record transfer fee of more than $332 million for Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. The club will also pay him a one-year salary worth $776 million, per CBS.

The Saudi Arabian club had earlier missed out on signing Lionel Messi from PSG.

The deal will make Mbappe the most expensive transfer in the history of club football, surpassing PSG’s 2017 deal for $262 million that landed Neymar in Paris from Barcelona.

The deal would also allow the Frenchman to leave the club for free to join Real Madrid in 2024.
