Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, has agreed to buy the conservative social media app, Parler after Twitter and Instagram locked his accounts last week for posting antisemitic posts.

Taking a cue from Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump to own a social media app to voice their opinions without scrutiny, the company announced Monday that Kanye has agreed in principle to buy the app.

Kanye “will never have to fear being removed from social media again,” George Farmer, CEO of Parlement Technologies—Parler parent—said in a statement.

‘Express ourselves’
In a statement released by Parler, Kanye said, “In a world where conservative opinions are considered to be controversial we have to make sure we have the right to freely express ourselves.”

Compared to Twitter which was downloaded 9 million times, Parler was downloaded 90,000 times last month, according to Sensor Tower.
