Following two subsequent quarters of subscriber loss, the world’s biggest streamer surpassed its expectations and added 2.4 million new customers in the September quarter.

The streamer had projected it would add 1 million new subscribers.

As a result, the company’s shares jumped 14% in after-hours trading.

The streamer is optimistic and projects it can add more than 4 million subscribers in the next quarter.
