Prosecutor drops firearms enhancement charges against Alec Baldwin

Prosecutors have dropped the firearms enhancement charges against actor Alec Baldwin in the case over the fatal shooting of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.

He now faces a maximum of 18 months in prison. He still faces a charge of involuntary manslaughter for the shooting.
