Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer tweeted Wednesday they have entered a ten-year commitment with Nintendo to make the Call of Duty (CoD) game available on it.

But this can happen only if their proposed $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard takes place.

The tech giant also confirmed that a similar deal was offered to Sony. If accepted, each new CoD release can be available on PlayStation the same day it launches on Xbox.

Sony has been opposing the Activision Blizzard-Microsoft merger arguing it will reduce choice for gamers, and raised antitrust concerns to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

The FTC today might discuss the implications of the merger and vote on whether to file a lawsuit to block the deal.
