President Donald Trump is traveling to China today, reportedly accompanied by a delegation of top American business leaders from Apple, Tesla, BlackRock, Boeing, and other major companies.
Trump’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping aims to secure vital business deals and purchase agreements with Beijing. The summit is expected to take place from May 13 to May 15.
The roster of executives joining the trip includes Tesla’s Elon Musk, Apple’s Tim Cook, BlackRock’s Larry Fink, and Boeing’s Kelly Ortberg.
Boeing, Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, BlackRock, and Meta executives have also been invited.
Notably, Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and representatives from Disney and Alphabet will not be present. Cisco CEO Chuck Robbins declined the invitation due to the company’s earnings schedule.
