President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social yesterday that there are “no talks or conversations going on, or scheduled” with Iran.
His remarks directly contradicted earlier statements by special envoy Jared Kushner, who said talks with Tehran were underway.
Trump further maintained that the Strait of Hormuz remains “open and operating,” but the naval blockade on Iranian ships remains active.
Meanwhile, Iran asserted the critical waterway remains shut.
