Israel’s former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could become the country’s leader again in the country’s fifth election in four years, per exit polls results Tuesday.

Netanyahu’s political comeback has been possible due to his alliance with extreme right-wing parties. On trial for corruption charges, his supporters see him as the victim of a witch hunt, and not as a threat to democracy.
