Israeli forces continued deadly strikes across Lebanon|@IDF|X
Despite the announcement of a new US-brokered ceasefire agreed between Lebanese and Israeli officials in Washington, D.C., Israel continued deadly strikes across Lebanon.
Furthermore, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem has rejected the ceasefire deal as a “farce,” warning that fighters will continue to target northern Israel as long as the bombings persist.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps declared that there will be peace only after Israel withdraws from Lebanese territory. It added that any ceasefire deal between Iran and the US must involve an end to the conflict in Lebanon.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that at least 3,526 people have now been killed and 10,733 injured in Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2.
