A day after the deadly bombing at the Istiklal Avenue in Istanbul, the police arrested a suspect Monday who is believed to have planted the bomb that killed six and injured 81.

According to Turkey’s interior minister, the initial findings indicate that Kurdish militants were responsible for the deadly attack.

Upon receiving a condolence message from the White House, the interior minister said, it was like a “killer being first to show up at a crime scene.” Turkey blames the US for supporting Kurdish groups.
