The International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, issued an arrest warrant for President Vladimir Putin yesterday alleging he is overseeing the abduction of Ukrainian children to Russia.

Moscow considers the ICC warrant legally void. The warrant is also for Russian children’s rights commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova.

US President Joe Biden welcomed the ICC move, calling it “justified.”
