Caitlin Clark officially joined the WNBA ranks when Indiana Fever picked her as the first overall pick in the draft. Clark acknowledged the moment as a long-awaited dream.

The superstar guard from Iowa, who recently concluded her college career with record-breaking performances, shattered scoring and viewership records in women’s college basketball.

Clark’s prolific four-season tenure at Iowa saw her amass 3,951 points, making her the all-time leading scorer in Division I college basketball history.

With her selection as the top pick, Clark is set to receive a four-year contract totaling $338,056, according to the terms outlined in the WNBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Alongside her, other top picks Cameron Brink, Kamilla Cardoso and Rickea Jackson, stand to earn the same pay.
