Microsoft is facing a new antitrust complaint on its cloud computing practices as CISPE filed a complaint with the European Commission alleging malpractice by the tech giant.

CISPE claims that Microsoft dominates the productivity software industry by directing European customers to its Azure cloud service. In addition, it makes it difficult for customers to opt for other cloud service providers.

“We remain committed to addressing valid licensing concerns and support a competitive environment where all providers can thrive,” a spokesman for Microsoft said on Tuesday.
