Donald Trump’s longtime chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, 75, has begun serving his five-month jail term for evading taxes on $1.7 million in job perks at the former president’s organization.

Weisselberg pleaded guilty in August 2022 and confessed that he and other Trump empire executives profited from job perks from 2005 to 2017. He will serve his prison term in New York’s Rikers Island jail and is eligible for release in three months if he maintains good behavior.
