The streaming giant is opening its first Netflix House today, transforming entertainment into an immersive experience.

Located in Pennsylvania’s King of Prussia Mall—formerly a Lord & Taylor store—the two-story venue lets fans step through a giant red envelope, symbolizing Netflix’s DVD-mailing past, into an atrium brimming with scenes and characters from its vast library.

Co-CEO Ted Sarandos called it a celebration of fans, highlighting Netflix’s goal to deepen emotional connections beyond the screen.

Inside the immersive experience
Visitors can explore themed attractions like One Piece, an escape-room-style pirate quest, and Wednesday, a carnival mystery featuring games and secret passages.

The site also features a nine-hole mini golf course, a VR area, a Tudum Theater for screenings, a retail shop, and Netflix Bites, which serves dishes inspired by popular hits, such as K-Pop and WWE.

Next stops: Dallas and Vegas
A second Netflix House is set to open in Dallas next month, followed by Las Vegas. Each venue will refresh its experiences annually, signaling Netflix’s push to blend storytelling with fan-driven, real-world entertainment.

Although it appears that the company is entering the theme park industry, it is not the same. The move is purely to strengthen Netflix’s IP and encourage you to spend more time streaming.
