Ikea’s new Brannboll collection has 20 items, including desks and chairs that swing
Ikea dropped a set of gaming furniture called the Brannboll collection, aimed to add a splash of color to a demographic often left with predominantly black-colored office-type chairs and tables to choose from.
With the new launch, the Scandinavian home furnishing giant aims to tap into a global market of 3.3 billion gamers.
The collection has 20 items, including desks, chairs (that swing), accessories, and various storage solutions. It also aims to bring gaming to the living room since several items can double as lounge furniture.
“With Brannboll, we are embracing the idea that gaming is for everyone and belongs everywhere in the home,” says Ikea product design developer Philip Dile. The furniture is age-inclusive and suitable for adults.
