The Senate passed a bill providing $70 billion in funding for ICE and Border Patrol through the end of President Trump’s current term.
The Senate passed the legislation 52–47, with no Democratic support, and without a provision to block a $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund that could compensate Trump allies who allege government mistreatment.
Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski was the sole Republican to vote against the final measure.
The legislation now heads to the House, where it is expected to be passed.
