The Justice Department, yesterday, arrested and charged two U.S. Navy sailors for passing sensitive national defense information to China in exchange for money.

The sailors stationed in California allegedly leaked blueprints of radar systems, technical manuals for vessels, operational plans and details of weapons to Chinese intelligence.

They also captured photos and videos of military equipment.

Both sailors had security clearance. They pleaded not guilty in federal courts in San Diego and Los Angeles. The hearings are scheduled for August 8.
