Iran demands the US Soccer Federation (USSF) be removed from Qatar World Cup for posting a “distorted image” of their national flag by removing the Islamic Republic’s emblem Saturday.

The USSF, on its official Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, displayed a now-removed image of Iran’s national flag with only its green, white and red colors. US Soccer said they wanted to change the official flag for 24 hours to show “support for the women in Iran fighting for basic human rights,” per CNN.

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency called for the removal of the US team from the tournament and in its Sunday tweet asked FIFA to suspend the USA for 10 games as a penalty.
